The service has been incredibly slow every single time I’ve been here. Sometimes it takes them 5 minutes to acknowledge my presence, another 5-10 minutes to take my order, and then 20-30 minutes to serve my food. (These numbers vary, but not by much).
They also have. Gluten free foods for those with Celiac Disease or gluten free eaters. I love it here!!!
I’m in the area allot for work and I’ve been in this diner 5 or 6 times now; the food is USUALLY good. This evening, unfortunately, I was served pancakes with the consistency of a memory foam mattress... and by no means am I a picky eater, I lived in Asia...
Went here for breakfast - just a great atmosphere great service very nice people . And good food! Took a minute to get served, the lady was there alone, cook, serve cashier. But way nice, help came and it was great.
Maybe I just have had bad luck at this particular place. But, it can only happen so many times before I stop believing it is a coincidence.
...Not to mention I have had to sit and listen to the workers complain to each other the entire time this evening.
The waitress was more interested in loudly discussing personal matters than serving us. The order was wrong, but they were busy running outside to smoke. I had to go steal other things from tables as service was horrid.
I was there at 930am. There was one cook, no waiters and twenty seven customers. I got my food at 1030. I go there often and they are always understaffed. The food is good and what staff there are are polite. They have a significant turnover in staff. Of the 27 about 10 walked out.
This is all acceptable when a restaurant is busy (excluding the pancake problem), but i have always been in during slow hours, so being busy hasn’t been a viable excuse.
